RSA is an insurer that started its activities in Argentina in 1912, although it has a presence in more than 140 countries. In 2012 it acquires the companies El Comercio Seguros and Aseguradora of Credits and Guarantees, forming a great team of producers that open the doors to new opportunities.
SysOne began implementing its SysOne Claims Management ™ solution, a claim processing software platform that standardizes processes and automates the activities necessary for case resolution. To integrate all the information from the areas involved in the treatment of the case, SysOne’s Insurance Service Bus ™ was implemented as a base platform. From this way each actor can access, according to their role, the web application to consult the claim and have a status of the case with updated information in real time. As part of Claims Management ™, SysOne implemented Business Rules Engine ™ for automating concurrent decisions in an environment optimized for business logic management. Thus, consistent estimates and valuations were obtained even under a high volume of cases. In this sense, the platform assisted users in decision making, thus reducing manual management to minimize losses and estimation errors.
On the other hand, SysOne Claims Management ™ allowed concurrent processing of the large volume of cases to identify patterns and determine potential fraud in the claim throughout the process. In this way, the costs of compensation were reduced through proactive fraud management.
