PROJECT DESCRIPTION

SysOne began implementing its SysOne Claims Management ™ solution, a claim processing software platform that standardizes processes and automates the activities necessary for case resolution. To integrate all the information from the areas involved in the treatment of the case, SysOne’s Insurance Service Bus ™ was implemented as a base platform. From this way each actor can access, according to their role, the web application to consult the claim and have a status of the case with updated information in real time. As part of Claims Management ™, SysOne implemented Business Rules Engine ™ for automating concurrent decisions in an environment optimized for business logic management. Thus, consistent estimates and valuations were obtained even under a high volume of cases. In this sense, the platform assisted users in decision making, thus reducing manual management to minimize losses and estimation errors.

On the other hand, SysOne Claims Management ™ allowed concurrent processing of the large volume of cases to identify patterns and determine potential fraud in the claim throughout the process. In this way, the costs of compensation were reduced through proactive fraud management.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

SMG Life replaced its operations self-management system, with the aim of providing its commercial network with a more effective tool and a better communication space between the producer and the company. The introduction of this new platform provides the ability to develop businesses over multiple channels, thus generating an omnichannel strategy. The implementation consisted in the online integration of life and collective insurance information in a single and flexible platform, through which producers can access via the web to quote, make policy endorsements, update the insured’s data and see the status of your checking account. Was implemented with the objective of generating a tool that will help to position Galicia in the market of companies in the online sale of mass insurance, giving the Human Resources area an instrument that will allow its employees the opportunity to access exclusive benefits as well as manage their policies. With this tool, the entire business and human resources sector manages to reach a group of individuals, the most important factor for the success of the project was to trigger events that generate quotes and new businesses. Including a system of integration with the management of Marketing and social networks. Another important point of the platform is the capacity of self-management, minimizing the operational management of the company and automating all processes. For this purpose, the portal is supported in ISB™, a tool based on a BPM engine, a rules engine and the possibility of generating as many services as the business requires.

Project Description “Bancaseguros:”

Se implementó con el objetivo de generar nuevos canales de atención a clientes en múltiples plataformas. Los mismos se montaron sobre la herramienta Insurance Service Bus™, con el fín de poder utilizar la oferta de servicios ya existente. Con esta implementación se pudo contener toda la diversidad de canales comerciales, generando interfaces gráficas a medida.

Objetivos del proyecto:

  • Consistency of customer data: All channels must have the same information of the clients in the area of business in question. This is achieved by taking data from the resource and injecting it into business processes of the insurer.

One of the challenges of this project was to be able to directly connect all the products with the operating systems of the insurer. For this, the Insurance Service Bus™ platform was implemented. With the implementation of the ISB ™, the circulation of information with customers and suppliers was also optimized using the integrationof the insurer’s operating systems, the “time to market” of services and products was improved and efficiency was increased thanks to the integration of the business processes and standardization of the exposed information.

Colón had a virtual office to consult policies, movements, current accounts and notifications. Even so, this platform did not provide the quantity and quality of adequate services for the expectation of growth. Meridional Seguros is an insurer that was born in 1948, in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

La Meridional faced a scenario where they interacted with various channels (brokers, bancassurance and producers), which through computer systems generated operations in different formats, depending on the systems provider of the mentioned actors. In order to be able to orchestrate all the movements and transform them into a standardized format, minimizing the impact on the systems providers of the channels, it was proposed to generate a transformation process of input and output of data for each one of them.

This process benefited the automation of the processes of entering and leaving the operations with their corresponding results, minimizing the manual operation and managing all the necessary data for the flow of the business.

Virtual Office™ – insured

In order to improve the range of customer services, the Virtual Office ™ solution was implemented, offering the possibility of accessing the consultation of their policies, data modification, printing of documents, reporting and consulting of claims, proof of payment, change of payment form, adhesion to electronic policy, among other functionalities, from wherever they are.

On the GO™

The On the GO ™ solution was implemented to extend the assistance channels to the insured, where you can access your account information from a Smartphone, consult policies, request a digital policy, request mechanical assistance through technology. QR and geolocation, pre-claim of claims, among other features that provide value to the customer.

Virtual Office™ – producers

The objective of this development was to generate a portal that would replace the portal with which they were working, providing new technology with the possibility of extending the application and integrating it in line with the core, thanks to the ISB™, improving the services provided to the producer. The functionalities that were developed are user management, commercial structures, policies, claims, current account, content management, novelties and initialed books, among others.

Virtual Office™ – pre liquidations

The company had a collection management system that was insufficient, so an application was implemented to control and manage the web collection process. This process managed and ordered the whole set of collections and collections orders in a unified manner, providing the company visibility and efficiency in the collection model. Thanks to the implementation of the ISB™ Insurance Service Bus, new functionalities and access channels to the company’s information were enabled, increasing the management capacity of the company. The pre-liquidation system consists of two modules that are the heart of the application which are reached within this development: > Web interface for generation and creation of pre liquidations of intermediary users. > Web interface for the collections sector.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Sancor Seguros has implemented the SysOne Insurance Core Life™ solution, a integral platform that supports all process of managing life insurance products. This allowed the insurer to have control over the entire cycle of its policies, whether from the request, quote, subscription and issuance thereof, automating key business processes and parameterizing the key features according to the business of Sancor Seguros. With this implementation, it is also possible to carry out rescues, reserves, loans, or investments, among others, all through a single portal 100% web that provides updated information of each client in real time. The solution has rigorous parameters of security and accessibility, so it has a role and user administrator. As for the first ones, it will be possible to visualize the existing ones in the platform, as well as create new ones, while for the case of the users, it will be possible to search or create new ones, having to assign them a pre-loaded role in the platform, such as an administrator, sales, business officer, etc.

Another aspect of the solution is the inclusion of a life quote with capitalization (Unit Linked), which allows them to manage life products with investment / savings. This tool makes it possible to quote, subscribe and issue online from multiple devices such as notebooks and tablets at any time and place, maximizing the possibilities of sale. For the incorporation of this functionality it was necessary to carry out various integrations with external interfaces such as the single base of people, investment funds, dollar quotation, etc. In turn, this quote is linked to the Mercado Pago channel, so the buyer, by providing the details of his credit / debit card, can immediately pay for his policy and issue his insurance. The accounting module for internal control and organization has also been implemented, which allows the creation of an agile and intuitive Account Plan that complies with all the regulatory requirements of the public body that supervises insurance entities in Argentina (SSN).

BNP Paribas Cardif is an insurer that started its activities in 1997, quickly adding an extensive portfolio of strategic partners within the insurance industry that allowed to position itself as a benchmark in the market. Over time it has expanded into branches and channels, taking as a strength the marketing of life insurance. As well has been regionalized successfully, being present in countries such as Argentina, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, among others.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

BNP Paribas Cardif Argentina was in a process of transforming his model of business so he hired SysOne to tell with a technological partner that provides and assists you integral way in the Know How of the market of insurance.

From there, SysOne undertook a process of analysis and survey of the current scenario of the insurer in order to determine the tools most appropriate to solve the problems inherent to the company (in this one period techniques were used like the realization of a Story Mapping, which brings a global vision of the state and actions to undertake). After this stage, a plan of improvement and action that included active participation of both work teams (Cardif / SysOne).

In this way, BNP Paribas Cardif could be provided with an added value both commercially and technically for the maximization in the management of its products and processes.

The main areas where it worked were:

  • Standardization and documentation of the key processes of the insurer, including also various business scenarios within the framework of individual and collective life. Within this item we can highlight the work in the collections modules, people management, quotation, subscription, issuance, billing, endorsements, renewals, reservations, claims, reinsurance, co-insurance, electronic documents, commission settlement, among others.
  • Analysis of the regulatory and tax regulatory framework in force in Argentina, documenting all the necessary requirements, structure and composition of new products, contract management, compliance and presentation of regulatory reports before the SSN (Superintendence of Insurance of the Nation).
  • Determination of points of improvement, which enables the streamlining and return of investment (ROI).
  • Incorporation of better work practices, which allows them to improve internal productivity, thus increasing business opportunities.
  • Change management, whether in processes, people and technology.

Qualia is the insurance company of the Petersen Group. It started operations in early 2016. It currently has a wide range of important clients in the market, such as Banco San Juan, Banco Santa Cruz, Banco Santa Fe and Nuevo Banco Entre Ríos.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

SysOne accompanied Qualia Seguros throughout an arduous growth process. For this, a survey and business analysis stage was carried out, determining the key factors to achieve a satisfactory implementation based on the incremental team work, thus being able to detect possible inconveniences and granting the customer deliverables of the final product with functionality in small timeslots. Within this project, there was a co-insurance relationship between Sancor Seguros (pilot insurer) and Qualia (participating insurer), where the challenge was based on an initial migration of the co-insured portfolio corresponding to the Robo Bolso, ATM and Home Theft branches.

From there, there was an interface that provides daily endorsements, emissions, renewals, claims, collection and re-invoicing of all policies, which are replicated in the core of Qualia automatically. For those cases in which one of these operations could not be integrated automatically, they can be integrated through the contingency modules manually by users.

The accounting module for internal control and organization has also been implemented, which allows the creation of an agile and intuitive Account Plan that complies with all the regulatory requirements of the public body that supervises insurance entities in Argentina (SSN – Superintendencia de Insurance of the Nation). It also allows aspects such as:

  • Accounting entries.
  • General Ledger.
  • Daily book.
  • General Ledger.

Throughout the work cycle SysOne has worked together with Qualia for continuous improvement, including aspects such as:

  • Front End: Custom graphic interface, focused on usability, agility, and user experience.
  • Trainning and Coaching: Workshop on innovation and agile methodologies to maximize internal efficiency and return on investment (ROI).
  • Training of the platform: Realization of personalized material for the learning of the platform, either in the elaboration of bibliographic documentation, as well as audiovisual productions such as videos.
